A Recovery Group for those who suffer from both Trauma & Addiction

Research shows that untreated trauma strongly correlates with Substance Abuse. This group will highlight the importance of understanding how Trauma & Addiction aect each other. The group format is based on an empirically studied integrative approach developed specically for PTSD & Substance Abuse called “Seeking Safety”. Participants will learn practical tools and safe coping skills that apply to both disorders.

*3 Phases of Growth:

• Phase I: The Journey begins: Steps of Understanding – 6 group sessions
• Phase II: Bridging the Gap: Creating Safety – 12 group sessions
• Phase III: Life on the other side of Trauma & Addiction – 6 group sessions

*Each participant must complete the Foundational Phase I to move on to Phases 2 & 3.
**60 minute Intake interview required

Group Session: 90 minutes
Dates: Evenings, 7-8:30
Cost: $45 per session
(6 session minimum. Some insurances accepted)
